Happy Mothers day

Happy Mothers day!!
This post is all about my mom: she is awesome, strong, beautiful, loving, caring, compassionate, understanding, supportive, capable of anything, she is my hero, my role model, my support, my everything!! my mom is so great, she has taught me to be a women of God and i hope when i have kids i am half the mom she is, i could not ask for a better mom in all the world. she is always there even when you don't ask, she just knows, and that's why shes a great mom. she knows more about me then i probably do about myself. she is strong and has helped me be strong in any situation that comes my way. she is too good to be true and i don't tell her all this near enough so here it is mom!! You are all of those things and then more. Mom you are AWESOME!! i love you, happy mothers day!!
p.s. my dad is pretty awesome too, but that's only to come for a Happy Fathers day!

Tulip time

Oh how i love tulip time, its my favorite time of the year. all the tulips and tourists come out.for the parades and junk food, did someone say GIANT corn dog!! yummy :)

but dutch dancing is my all time favorite.  I  so enjoy it; it  was such a passion that not many people have. i can really say i am in my glory when i have my dutch costume on and I'm dance to the music. as good as all of this sounds, i did not get to partake in any of the fun, no junk food, no parades, no tulip and definitely no dancing. oh how my heart aches for the sounds of clomping shoes on the road.

as sad as it was that i missed all the fun this year, i will not let that happen again. Watch out, next year i was be back and more into and anyone, ill be at the parades, eating junk food and oh boy you better believe ill be dancing!!!

i cant wait!! only 365 more days, its time to start the count down!!

a special thank to Jessica and Erica for letting me steal their pictures, even though i didn't ask :)

and today was good!

Today was one of the best days I've had in quite sometime, besides the ever loving trip to Michigan. but I'm talking down here in Florida, and to top that were in the keys. so let me share with you my readers that made today ever so pleasant. it all started with an 8:15 wake up call to waffles, yum and still hot i might add. at first i thought I'm not ready to get up after wasting away my sleep and not going to bed till 4:27 am this morning, but i remembered i got to play tennis!! woo ya, i did quite well too. after an exciting 2 and a half hours of tennis i went home took a shower and there were no kids pounding on the door telling me they can see my butt. after that i got Lexi and Kenny ready and we headed out for a day in the sun. we enjoyed lunch by the pool, where we later played mermaids and dolphins. after a while we moved ourselves to the beach and "baked" very yummy mud cakes, mud cookies, mud muffins, mud bread, mud juice and any other thing that shouldn't be made of mud. as 3'o clock rolled around i was starting to except that my sun was coming to an end when i knew Kenny was more then ready for a nap. little did i know Kenny was about to make me so happy my cuddling up to me for 2 hours while i still enjoyed the sun. after my relaxing 2 hours we finally decided to head for home and have some dinner, both the kids ate great which always make me a happy....nanny. to finish our day we took a gold cart ride around fishing village, took a fun filled shower and watched "go Diago go:! when i was going to tell the kids its about time to go to bed i see both my angles sleeping soundly and without a peep i easily moved them both into bed and had pure joy. 8:18pm and there sleeping, and sleeping like sound angles! i guess its all in a days work. days like this make me ever so thankful i have come into Lexi and Kenny's lives and they make everyday better then the last.

you are my sunshine

Long day today, i say that every Saturday, Sunday and Monday but even Friday this week the kids didn't go to school today so more work for me. i was so fed up with fussing and complaining and temper tantrums today, i had surely had it by dinner time. so after dinner we went for a gold cart ride, stoped for ice cream and everything was magically better, funny how that works. we sang songs the whole way home about various things we saw, flowers, tree, people and the sun. while we were about to sing about the sun Lexi said this ones for you Chel. "you are my sunshine my only sunshine you make me happy when skis are gray you'll never know dear how much i love you please don't take my Chelsea away" i thought okay i can do this and when everything is sour its always the kids the give me a pick me up. so i guess thank goodness i have this job. in theory no matter how bad you think something is, it could be worse so be thankful for what you have!
